Mia has been having breathing problems just like Vincent did. The difference...she is happy all the time...rarely cries...(only at night) However, she has been on a higher dose of pulmicort than Vincent was ever on. In fact our respiratory therapist at work say they don't even give that large of a dose to pediatric patients. So with that we had to make an appointment with at pulmonologist. As a screening the test for cystic fibrosis....thankfully it was negative. They made some med changes...took her off nebulizer unless she has a bad bad cold or something and placed her on inhalers like Vincent only different medications. She fights it a little right now...but hopefully it will work out..it is so much easier. And then he placed her on prevacid thinking she may have some silent reflux...it must be real silent..I didn't think she had any...she never fusses or throws up...ect....but he said with her wheezing on the high of medication and coughing in evening are signs of reflux. So we will see, we have a check up in 2 months with him....cross your fingers!

Oh Tam, how scarry! I'm glad the CF was negative! It is so hard when your sweet little ones aren't just right, but they don't have answers....we tend to worry a little as mommies! But hang in there and if you need anything, let me know.
