I have been meaning to update the blog for a long time now...and the sad part is...since I procrastinated doing it for so long I forgot all the funny little things I wanted to post. Vincent has really been talking up a storm, saying the cutest and random things. Lately its why? Why? WHY? oh the joys of parenthood. The other day he must have learned the word scary...lots of things are scary now. Rolling down the front lawn...Sca-wre! (as he says it). Monsters has scary parts now too! As I remember things I will let you know...or I shall start to write them down. Well alot of things have been going on. Just the other day Vincent's elbow popped out of socket again..at daycare. Had to take him to the doctor to have it placed back! OH yeah.
Vincent and Mia took there first bath together...I got a few pics, but our computer is down right now...so check back I hope to put the pictures on later. They had a good time, well I think. Mia kept getting water poured on her, and then spit up green beans a little bit...Vincent was grossed out...uckies mommy uckies! This was the same time I was trying to get pictures...so I made him stay...what a nice mommy I am.

BIG NEWS!!!! I forgot to share that on April 1....Mia first tooth started breaking through! YEAH....I think. No April Fool's joke here, and now her second tooth right next to it is coming through too! She is getting big so fast...slow down!!! She is also rolling all over the place and a little bit of an army crawl, and you know what that means....crawling is soon to folllow. SO I'm thinking should I decrease her belly/floor time to delay this process...so my life is easier?

Mia's First Baby Food

First time with Baby Food

Well...we had or I guess I should probably say I had planned to start Mia with Rice Cereal on Easter...it was part of her Easter basket. She had different plans. Here's a little update. She has been fighting a cold for almost a month now. She had a pretty bad cold about 4 weeks ago...thought we would end up back at the doctors for an ear infection. It appeared to me like it was all sinus problems, so I figured an ear infection was inevitable. Mia is different then most kids I know. She hasn't in the past run a fever or been fussy when she has had horrible ear infections, she has chronic eye drainage...so how exactly would I know if she were getting worse. So I decided to base it more on how she ate and slept. Well with in a week she was sleeping great for her...6-8 hours at night and eating great. Just had a lingering cough that comes and goes. So we decided to just watch her. Well this last weekend...Easter weekend. She decided to start coughing alot...meaning she slept oh...an hour and half at most during the night and wheezing occasionally. Of course this starts when we are out of town. So we started the nebulizers in anticipation of what was to come. Monday morning I took her the doctor's office...Good news...no ear infection but lots of mucous in the ears, could go bad any time with all the sinus drainage/pressure she has. She has a horrible cold (probably RSV-we didn't test her) and put on every 4 hour nebulizers, saline suctioning of the nose (which we had been doing for a month now), steriods, singulair and told to push fluids. Dr Paradis said to keep a close eye on her, and not to hesitate to go the ER at night if she changes, she could get pneumonia at anytime. UGHHH..and YIKES! So we have here elevated in her bouncy chair at night to help with drainage and just trying to keep her happy!

With all of this happening, Mia got to start baby food faster. We have to give her singulair and it has to be given in baby food. So here is here first time eating anything and she started with squash. In a couple of weeks we will try rice cereal too...when we've had a chance for her health to improve.

Mia has recently well...a couple of weeks ago found her feet, and now I think they are her best friends. It sometimes hard to change her diaper because she has them up to her face!

The Marcello family went to the Amazing Pizza Machine last weekend and had a great time. Even Mia rode a ride..but the pictures didn't turn out. Vin and had lots of fun playing in their maze...he didn't want to come down. But of course he did and then he a lot of fun playing on the car and train as well as shootin hoops with Daddy
