Spending time with Nana

We went to Hastings this past weekend...mostly because I didn't want to have both kids to myself for the whole weekend yet...Chris was off trying to hunt a deer. So Vin, Unkie Jake and I went to the Children's Musuem..I too had fun with the letters.....

Vin did a little shopping while we were there. I guess all the good stuff is in the way back.

Nana wanted to make mommy some brownies while she was in town...she was nice enough to let Vin help out...I think he loved it...this was him after he mixed in the eggs by hand..ickies!!

The Big 2 for VIncent 11.20.2009

HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY VINCENT!!!

Vincent turned the big 2. We had a great day full of fun things. We got up and had a great big breakfast...then went and did a little toy shopping..nothing like waiting till last minute. Then lunch time...and then who knew it was time to go to BOUNCE U and have some fun. Then back to the house for some cake made from scratch by Daddy...Daddy said you have to have a homemade cake on your birthday..and so the tradition begins...and yes he did have a homemade cake when he turned 1.

Overall I think he had a great birthday...and more to come with NICU friends and family back home...Happy Birthday Vincent

Dress up with Kenadee!

Mommy and Mia were home alone...Daddy was working and Vin was off at school..so we decided to have some fun taking picutres of the girls!

Vincent, Mia and I went over to our friends house to play. Vincent wanted to hold Mia so badly...she started crying and he lifted his shirt up to feed her...I guess! Funny thing is she calmed down, but then she started to cry again..and he just shoved her into his chest while watching TV...never a passing thought to look down...that's just like his Daddy. Way too involved in the show they are watching. (which is kind of funny, I can never get him to sit down and watch cartoons...)

Vincent helping Papa install the new dishewasher...do you see what were looking at? Vin was trying so hard to help Papa holding the light, pulling things off...both helpful and not...and then even sticking some new items under for Papa to find later.

Vin refused to sleep in his bed for nap time...no shocker there..it happens all the time..except this time he wouldn't lay down on the couch without his water and his purse...full of his important toys!
Later he wakes up and has to have it in his chair for snack as well.....Chris loves this!!!

The Zoo and more

It was a beautiful day..and we took advantage and took the family and grandma Cathy to the zoo. We all had a great time. Grandma hadn't been to the zoo...in too many years to count :) Vincent and a great time and Mia I think enjoyed herself..she was actually awake for part of it and only had to eat once...so that was nice.
