Preschool graduation....little late

Vincent has officially graduated preschool.
He was very excited for this day.  They learned new songs...and the best part they were going to have cookies and punch. He was not sad at all to leave...(which he would not be leaving for another couple months....)

Vincent entrance....

 Pledge of Allegiance
 Getting ready to sing songs
Mr. Jarrod giving him his diploma
 The proud graduate

ABC Daycare Pre school class of 2013
 His teachers: Miss Jessica
Miss Melissa used to be his teacher, he really liked her

 Ready for new adventures!!!
Now I know my ABC's
Colors, Shapes and Days
I sang some songs
Learned some poems, rhymes and fingerplays

I played outside on sunny days
And inside when it rained
My little hands and little feet were very busy every day

My teaches were Mr. Jarrod and Miss Jessica
I kept them on their toes
They tied my shoes, wiped my nose and
even wiped my nose.

But now it is time to say "Good-Bye"
To all my preschool friends
School is over, summer is here
But learning never ends!

CAV Ball

Back in May....
Chris and I went to his annual CAV Ball.  It was fun to get out before baby #3 arrives.  Dress shopping was not as much fun as previous years.  I didn't really want to spend money on a dress.  Unfortunately any of the dresses friends had didn't fit my growing belly.  So this is what I ended up with.  Not the best....not the worst!

Some of the army guys all dressed up

I think I was about 333-34 weeks here.

Soccer

Spring Soccer Days....

Vincent is a go-getter when it comes to soccer. We encourage him to go out there and make a goal...and he puts his "all" into making a goal.  I think he has great potential in soccer.
 Taking out the competition

 Soccer Team
This season we did have to use an inhaler.  He was getting very short of breath, complaining of his chest hurting.  We are hoping it is allergy related and not asthma.  Our pediatrician has recommended us to watch him next year at school and then follow up

Dying Easter Eggs

Playing catch up.....
The kids loved dying eggs for Easter.  Nana and Papa were lucky enough to share this experience with us.  I think more dye went on the kids then the eggs.  They had some green and blue hands for a day or so.  They designed them to be monters this year...

March update

I am not doing very good at updating this blog....but am trying harder to improve.  We have had some busy days around here.  Vincent is checking out karate these days...he has only gone to one class so far, but they tell us he did great. I think during the summer he will do tumbling and karate once soccer is over.  Mia is going to start dance class as well.

The pregnancy is going better....little spurts of back pain here and there.  Guess its expected with protruding abdomen, not bad compared to when I was pregnant with Mia.  Here's a recent picture of the itty creature in my belly and the kids.  24 weeks here....now 26 weeks.

It was beautiful out the other day...Sill made the kids wear coats though. Took advantage of it and played outside for awhile.  Little strange to see them riding scooters with snow in the background and running into snow banks.

Vincent had Kindergarten Round Up...he loved it!  They met their teachers.  Played a silly song game..which he remembers, made a coloring page of sunflowers and planted a flower to bring home. He is ready to go back he said...is mom ready????

My little teacher

My little teacher...Miss Mia..
She has been way too quiet for too long....I go to check on her and yes her room is destroyed, but she is teaching all of her babies...I better sit down now...I am getting lectured.  She reads them stories and then shows them how to color and even cut paper...oh yeah!
I love LOVE the fact that she has her high heels on while teaching...legs crossed..
 Thinking....

Song time..everyone better sing along...are you singing???
 Vincent just being Vincent....goof ball

Tried to get her to smile...this is what I get

Happy Birthday Aunt Kris

Aunt Kris turned 60....not a big deal...
The family met half way in Colby KS.  Which would have been a great time if I hadn't had oh...several things go wrong. First I chipped my back tooth while eating a goldfish of the kids...what the....
then my lower back was aching the whole time...just to top it off with getting sick during the night..coughing all night, unable to breath and get comfortable.  The next morning I was in so much pain...and being 21 weeks pregnant at the time...didn't know if the back pain was contractions or sickness...off to the ER we go.  The doctor there was very rude...just leave it at that.  So I miserable and to top it off the cold medicine I was taking is NOT good during pregnancy.  Just great.  Thankful my parents drove and I had planned to stay at their house for a couple of days till Chris was home from Germany. I owe them so many thanks for watching the kids to allow me to rest. The virus lasted a week...just love using my maternity leave.

But on a good note...Happy Birthday Aunt Kris...we had to add a few decorations to her hotel room

Singing Happy Birthday to Aunt Kris...the kids can't wait to have fudge frosting cake.
And what kind of party would it be without a pinata.....doesn't every 60 year old women expect a pinata at their party????

 Birthday girl...with her new hat...
I made her a little candy bouquet...
This is your day! TAKE 5 because you need no REISEN

To celebrate and turning 40 is nothing to SNICKER about.
In fact, this is when you have BUTTERFINGERS
And your mind starts playing TWIX on you.
You’re WHATCHAMACALLIT isn’t working properly,
You’ll do things NOW & LATER
And forget them both.
You’ll even begin to swear on PAYDAYS that
You made 100 GRAND when in fact
It was only SKITTLES.

So when looking back on the days of your life,
Remembering all the SMARTIES and NERDS
And those AIRHEADS on 5th AVENUE.
Think of the fun shared with your friends
And all the CHUCKLES you shared with your
3 MUSKATEERS and MR GOODBAR.

Because whether at the SNO CAPS or a SYMPHONY
You’ve been a LIFESAVER to so many.

Hope your birthday leaves you with
GOOD N PLENTY.

Happy Birthday!

We love you!!!
