A whole bunch of everything

So...where to start...our computer was broken and so I had to wait to download pics at friends houses or my parents...so things are just getting bunched together. Vincent's crib got recalled....yikes....so we had to jump into getting him a bed. We had decided on a twin bed before we went to the mart...and came home with a full size bed????? Vin looks so tiny in the bed now, but yet such a big boy. I will try and post a pic of the new room look soon. Here's Vin and Dad putting the bed together. Chris and I went to Chicago for a litte getaway...we visited some cool spots. Here's Chris looking at his reflection at the Bean or Globe or something along that line.

The gang all together again....Randy, Ana, me, Irish, Leigh, Chris, Yoda, Marv and Josh!
Vincent became an OFFICIAL BIG BOY this month (JUNE). He is showing off his new underwear...CARS...he has been wanting to go potty alot and does it at daycare, so it was just a matter of time before he forced us to. It went really smoothly. The first day I just asked him/took him to the potty every hour-ish and made him try if he was dry and went potty he got some minature M&M's...mmm candy. So it worked well. The hardest part was trying to convince him to go poop in the potty, and thats were the gum came into play. Everytime he went poopy in the potty he got some gum...if he remembered. I didn't really want to give it to him but it works. He actually potty trained the best outside in his swim trunks...I swear he needed to pee every 20 minutes, rather he had drank much that day or not. So YEAH for us.
Striking a pose to show you his CARS
Mia has really been on the move...She started crawling right before we went to Chicago, and then shortly after started pulling herself up to standing position.
Just too cute...I love her eyes!

Our playgroup friend Delilah turned 2 in June..we helped her celebrate at her house with water and games. Mia not a huge fan of cold water...but got one cute pic
Kenadee and Vincent having a picnic...I guess at the party and Mia just tagging along in the play stroller....and no I did not allow anyone to push her in it..just for picture.

Vincent and mommy having some fun with stickers.

A beautiful, humid day and we decided to go for a walk...this is Mia's first time in the wagon. She loved it, looking around everything, grabbing Vin's glasses.

Time to catch up

Alot to catch up on...
Mia had her appointment with the ENT office last week...and well we all knew it, but she NEEDS tubes. After all the medications she had the past month and half her ears are still infected. The left one bright red and full of fluid the right ear, partial fluid and pink. So its a go...we need them. We have an appointment with the eye doctor on Friday to see if we can if we can get her blocked tear duct in her eye fixed at the same time. I am really hoping they can fit us in next week for surgery!
Other great news...Miss Mia started crawling last Wednesday night (June 3) right before Chris and I had planned to leave for Chicago. She was only crawling a few steps at a time..but she was so happy to do it. I love it, but I don't want her to grow up! Now she will crawl all over the room..just trying to be near everyone. We are really trying hard to watch what Vincent eats and plays with in the rooms now..no crumbs or small toys can be left around.
For the first time ever.....Mia slept from 9pm to 7am...all by herself...of course I slept like crap that night..but that's a sign she can do it!

Vincent has been busy busy busy! He is always on the go and loves it outside in the backyard swinging, swimming, climbing, playing with daddy's stuff in the garage. Tires me out. He has also been talking alot more, making full sentences. The only problem is he is starting to remember everything I say....for instance. He had some gum while we were at my parents house and now he wants it all the time. So I tell him:
Mommy: "Mommy doesn't have any more gum"
Vincent: "Gum please Mommy"
Mommy: "Mommy doesn't have anymore, we will have to go the store and get some"
Vincent: "Okay Mommy lets go to the store then"
Every day...I just tell him we don't have any...and he responds lets go to store mommy and get gum and occasionally he adds more onto the list...yesterday it was gum, chocolate and Gami's juice (sprite and crystal light) I love it!

As for Chris and I we recently went to Chicago for a little couple time. We had a great time...and spent too much money! Oh well....life goes on! We visited the Sears Tower...the Bean-globe, walked along Lake Michigan for a LONG time, had some nice dinners and of course the bars with a few friends.
