The kids are growing!

My little man is growing up soooo fast. He wants to help dad fix everything, mow everyday, dust, and do dishes...not that I'm complaining...but unfortunately I have to help with all of them. Where has the time gone? Mia is growing just as fast. She is a much happier (if you can believe that) after having her tubes placed. She loves to make sounds...I think she enjoys her voice, and she is eating baby food alot better, not to mention she has been sleeping better at night. We had her 9 month appointment yesterday. She is 18lbs 1oz (little less than two weeks ago) and 27 inches, but she is on the go all the time. Don't think it will be long until she is walking :( not wanting that to happen...YET!

Everything

I was really hoping to have some pics and videos uploaded by now....but as you can see I don't. So instead of procrastinating any more...here's the updates:
Chris is getting deployed to Afghanistan and leaves the end of the month...I am dreading this day to come. This means I will be a single mother to 2 small children for a year. Many people including family and friends have been telling me to let them help...we will see! We are trying to get everything in line for when he leaves...the financial, kids, paperwork...ect....YUCK! If anyone can find a reason that he has to stay home..please share
Mia has decided to she wants to show Daddy all her tricks before he leaves. Last week she pulled herself up to standing position on Vin's little red chair and started pushing it around...yes that means she is walking with assistance.. YIKES! As much as I want her to walk before Chris leaves so he can see it in person. I really want her to stay "less mobile" as long as possible. Doesn't look like that is going to happen though. Good news...Mia is getting her tubes placed on Tuesday July 6. It can not come soon enough. We took her to the doctor for her H&P before surgery...and they said her ears are still...um..ouch full of pus and red as can be. They have been like this for 3 months now with 5 different antibiotics trying to treat it...and they do nothing. Hopefully after we get her tubes..some of the sinus pressure will go down...and she will stop coughing and needed all the breathing treatments...and of course SLEEPING through the night!!!
Vincent has been such a big boy lately....he is really like the potty, actually he really like peeing outside. When we let him pee outside he always wants to be on something....ants, ant hills, leaves, sticks...never just the ground...and then that's all he wants to do..no more potty. I guess that is okay when we are home..but out in public its a little hard. He is doing so good, very few accidents. He actually said he had to pee yesterday when I was going to go get dinner and he was able to hold it for 20 minutes until we got home...so he could pee outside. Way to go Vincent!
Harley our niece came and stayed with us over the 4th of July weekend. We had lots of fun with her. Playing outside and in the water. She loved the fireworks. Vincent had more fun playing in the water until all the pretty colored ones in the sky started. Mia however did not like the BIG BIG BOOM ones that were going off next door...doesn't help that it woke her up from her nap. We enjoyed our 4th with the neighbors, once it stopped raining. It was a lot of fun to finally meet alot of neighbors.
