Our princess turns ONE!!!

One year ago our lives were blessed with another Marcello....Miss Mia Elaine arrived into the world. Happy FIRST Birthday MIA. She is such a blessing to our family. I can not imagine our lives without her. Vincent has a best friend and we have a beautiful little girl. Mia has had a whole weekend full of birthday fun. We had a playdate birthday party yesterday, and had a great time. We had alot of friends that came and celebrated with us. Mia was in good spirits most of the time...we were short a nap! She got a lot of toys! On Sunday...her actual birthday we celebrated in Hastings with some family. Mia showed us her talent with cake eating. She was a darling little mess of purple and blue frosting with some cake crumbs all over. I can't wait to show the pics...coming soon. Thank you to everyone for all the birthday wishes.

Well lets see...things have been real REAL fun here on my own...NOT! I am ready for a long break...and that is a LONG time away! Vincent is a big helper sometimes...and other times not so much...I just have to remember to breathe...he's 2. He does have alot of cute moments...but still pushes every last button that I have. Lately at night we will be reading books...well he reads to me and I get to push the sound buttons. When I do..he says in a whisper...you my big helper...you get sticker! Puts a smile on my face everytime. They must say that at preschool! He has also learned that #3 means he gets in trouble..so we now count. 1-2-4-5...and so on always skips 3 now! He is alot smarter than I realize.

Mia....is so close to walking on her own. Just today she took 7-10 steps on her own..but then face plants most of the time..she hasn't really learned to fall backwards on her butt....although you would think she was with all the bruises she has obtained these past couple of weeks learning to walk. She still doesn't talk much..mostly babbles..can't get her to say ma ma...but she loves to show you big girl and hi five and bye bye....so hopefully the words come soon. I guess I need to remember she had so many ear infections for so long..she finally is hearing everything!
