Getting BIG

Vincent is really starting to move...he crawls and crawls and crawls....all over! AND NOW we love to pull ourself up on the furniture, on anyone sitting, standing...anything to start walking..which my thinking....lets just wait for that one Vincent! He is gettins so big, I am not ready for it. He just started to stand in his bed, so now we have to drop it down to the floor, makes laying a sleepy baby down...HARD for a little thing like me.

Vincent's first time with the sippy cup....he didn't really know what to think of it. We are still playing with it more than we drink from it. He prefers the bottle.

We had the ARMY's family picnic this weekend. Chris got really sunburned and has really sore sore feet from drill. Vincent had a great time, and rebelled against his nap...I laid the stroller seat back so he could sleep...this is what he prefered. So Cute!!

NICU friends

Vincent and mommy went to a fun playdate with all of mommy's co-workers and their kids. We had lots of fun. Vincent enjoyed playing or crawling on the kids, and some poking on their faces. He has obsession with touching faces, I have discovered. It was a great but very hot day. We took some quick pictures outside, more to come later....even some of Vincent in a wagon!

Fun Times!!

Vincent and Daddy were rappin'.....it was so cute, but we didn't get it all on video. Vincent was dancing and groovin' to the music...and then started to laugh at Daddy.

Vincent just loves to bounce, in his jumper or in your hands!!

Vincent is really taking off on his crawling...more and more every day. Today he crawled from our living room to almost the front door, before I made him turn around. He is getting so big. I think more teeth are starting to come in. He is really drooling and has an unexplained diaper rash that is bad:(

Chris is at a Combat Course for the ARMY this week, is play tackling..so I think with other guys. I am sure he is really enjoying himself. Well nothing much more...

7 months

Today Vincent is 7 months old..time is flying by. He started crawling yesterday..the real crawl...not just the army crawl. He is teething again...working on the top teeth now...can you see his teeth?? We are enjoying every moment with him.

The Lake

We had our first day at the lake for the summer...it was a great time! Vincent loved the water...he could move all around, he even walked in the shallow end with his blow up toy. Chris went tubing and mom just hung out. We hope to go out there lots more!

Swinging

So I have been very busy lately or just lazy...one of the two! Vincent has been growing lots every day. He has been trying to join the army and be the youngest PVT. He has a few more steps to take before getting there.
We bought lots of balls for his pool to play in...he loves toys!
Sleepy time in his chair...Vincent had ate his dinner and then not even 5 minutes later he fell asleep in his chair, I thought it was so cute, I had to take a picture before moving him.

Hand, foot, what??!!?

So Vincent has been kind of irritable the last couple days, Chris and I associated it with just having a cold. Well I messed up on our diet a little bit the other day and Vincent had some dairy, which he did not tolerate. On top of all of this he developed a rash all over his body. I took him to the doctor today and they diagnosed him with a couple of things...#1 Viral infection causing the rash and some of the cold symptoms and #2 Hand, Foot and Mouth disease. His throat is really red with some sores in it and he has a few sores on his foot. It is contagious so watch out everyone he was around...its passed through the saliva! So in time he will be better till then its Motrin and Mylanta to help comfort!!

Not so sunny days!

Mommy and our friends from the NICU got together today. It was suppose to be a beautiful day so we were going to go swimming, instead Mommy just placed us in an empty pool to play....so we all went after each other. The other picture is of Vincent and his friends...Vincent, Will and Cole. We all had fun and everyone is getting so big.

Popsicles

Vincent is learning more and more every day...he is now working on crawling, and can sit up partially as seen from his belly. Everyone says its not going to be much longer until he is crawling...who knows!
At the homecoming party for our cousin Jason...from Iraq, all the kids were eating popsicles, so Vincent decided to give it a try....and LOVED it!! He kept taking bites of the popsicle and dad had to pry it out of his mouth so he wouldn't choke! Fun Times!!
