Colorado....
A couple of weeks ago we went to Colorado...it was a nice break. The trip there took a little longer than anticipated. We left Hastings (later than planned...due to needing Eileens cookies for my brother), then pulled over at Kearney for what was suppose to be a quick breakfast....(that ended in McDonald's...then gas...then coffee for road) Next pulled over around North Platte, dads truck needed some adjustments to the cargo in the back...while we there our truck DIED!...all when mom and dad had already pulled back onto the interstate...GREAT!!! But good new we got it started and were off again!! So that's a great first couple of hours. It did get better.
We lucked out and stayed with Jacob and Carrie. Their apartment is very nice...so cute! Plus has a great pool/hot tub area. Not to mention a million restaurants with in walking distant. While in Colorado we also attended a good friend of mines wedding...Congrats to newly Mrs Scott and Laura Dangel. The wedding was beautiful..and even better no kids to entertain..the family took them for then night. Love when that happens.
While there I was hoping to get some cute pictures of the family. Carrie loves taking pictures so this was perfect. Except my darling Mia didn't want to smile. Thanks!! We did get a few good ones..hope to post more soon.
