When Daddy was coming home...back in July

We decided to be very festive and decorate not only our house...but the neighborhood for when Daddy came home...it was alot..ALOT more work than we anticipated...and then because the army likes to change things...we got to decorate in Hastings at my parents house as well.

The signs we made to welcome Daddy home....as we drove on 156th Street (north) towards our house...
They said:
Welcome Home SSG Marcello
We Missed you Daddy
We Love You
and of course flags and yellow ribbons as well from Ida all the way to our house....

Our house...almost all decorated...had to remove a few flags...kind of looked like a graveyard...instead of a cute welcome home patriotic type thing.

The banner I made...for Hastings...at last minute...not bad...

Part of the decorated car....patriotic of course...and yes...I missed spelled the back of the car saying "Going to get my Soldier! I think I spelled it correct there. The bad part is...I had other family members with me...who did not correct it and other friends as well...thanks for letting drive around like a .......

Fontanelle Forest...

Way behind...on posting....here it goes...the kids making their own train....Mia with protection....Vince made her wear it...

When Chris came home we went to the ICE AGE at Fontanelle Forest. The kids had a great time. We should have allowed more time, so we could have gone off hiking a little bit more, but no...we had doctor's appointments to go to. Dang doctors. Next time...next time.
