Family update

Well....long story made short...after several racing heart, pounding chest and lightheadedness my doctor made me start medicine. The nurse practioncer had placed me on procardia...but then the next day my OB doctor changed in to propranolol. She said this medicine would help my racing pounding heart and not drop my blood pressure as much as the other medicine. Since my blood pressure is already lower they were afraid I would pass out on this medicine. So they required me to take some time off from work and makesure Vinny had someone else to watch him at least the first day. The medicine is helping...my heart is not racing now...steadily beating at 75-80. Still get a little lightheaded..but I can deal. The only bad thing...I am tired!!! It makes you drowsy. Oh well...if it allows her to grow a little bit longer its worth it. I am 36+ weeks now...and am ready to finally meet her....although the room is not quit ready. Cathy finished making my crib bedding/curtains this weekend. They are wonderful...she could really make a business out of that. Can't wait to put the pictures on...later....when Vincent is not around. He is such a big help when I am on the computer.

Speaking of my little angel....he is teething again... The first time around we had no problems but these 2 year molars are causing problems. He keeps saying Ouchie to his ears..referred pain I guess. It wakes him up at night and he cant seem to fall back to sleep..this morning he was up at 4am...and yes....stayed awake, despite all my efforts to get him back to sleep. On top of all of this...Chris was playing with him in the grass the other day and his eyes got all swollen and red..must have some kind of irritation to it. Chris gave him a bath and allergy medicine...to hopefully help...but later he got bubbles in his eyes...poor guy. Eyes got flushed out...just a rough day. Well not sure what caused what...but his eyes, nose starting draining....alot...alot of green junk! And he started coughing alot...so to the doctor we go. He as a sinus infection....bad...we are on eye and ear drops, antibiotics, double the dose of allergy medicine and motrin for his teeth to help him sleep...can't God just give us a little break before Miss Marcello decides to come?

Vincent was having alot of fun playing with Unkie Jacob when he came to Omaha for day. He must have taken the necklace beads on and off a million of times. Unkie Jacob allowed it...so I guess the fun continues.

Jacob was my savior that day. Chris had left for guards for the weekend and I was having some more heart issues. I got really light headed requiring me to sit in the shower... and rest during the shower. I had spotty vision and muffled hearing...and then throughout the day I just kept getting light headed, woozy and feeling like my heart was going to pound out of my chest. So later in the day Jacob took me to the heart doctor again. The EKG was normal again (which I think are pointless to do unless you are having an attack while they perform it) But my blood pressure was a little lower. They had down orthostatic blood pressures on me...they varied a little, but enought that they are too low for any medication that might help. They suggested bedrest...uh NO! I dont' even have enough PTO for maternity the way it is. But I took Sunday off..under my doctor, husband and mothers orders...and rearranged my schedule to have Monday off until I see my doctor on Tuesday and make a plan....so cross your fingers. I keep having these episodes...so who knows.

Finally starting the nursery

So with 6 weeks to go...we started to finally get things rolling. We started to prime and pain the nursery this week...

I have been meaning to blog for awhile..and to be honest just haven't been real motivated to do so, so in return I have lots of updates. First Miss Marcello is causing a little bit of problems for me. I went for my follow up check up with the cardiologist for the holter monitor, and it said that my heart rate was indeed elevated and that I was having occasional PVC and a few PAC's. Since I told him when I feel "odd" I just pause and catch my breath, he I decided no medication at this time. I just have to take it easier when this occurs, if it worsens then I will be on a beta blocker for awhile. He is confident its related to the pregnancy. As for Miss Marcello she is making her momma HUGE!!! or maybe its all the junk food I have been eating...alot of lately. At 36 weeks I am starting the MSPI (milk soy protein intolerance diet) that I had to do while breastfeeding Vincent. By trying to do the diet prior to her coming, hopefully she will not have the allergy to it that he did. Tomorrow I will be 35 weeks....scary but so ready. Well at least I am ready for her to come out, our house not so much!

Vincent and I threw daddy and SURPRISE 30th BIRTHDAY PARTY!! this last weekend. With the help of Irish and his other buddies I was able to get him out of the house and pull of the party. I had been planning this since he left in July. Irish flew back from Chicago...such a good friend and planned this guys night in Kearney (which was Friday night) and kept him busy all day Saturday until the party that night. Chris walked in and of course everyone yelled surprise...he was thrown off..."for what" we all were like your 30th birthday. He said its not till next month. Then of course I had to explain AGAIN...we are due next month and if I was going to all of the work to plan a party...I wanted to be there. I had decided to throw him a Casino themed party. So downstairs I had made it into a casino type area. We had the pool table, poker table, blackjack and roulette table. Upstairs...we had theNebraska game on...just for his friends. I had to invest in digital cable in order to purchase the game on PPV. Oh well, we got a deal for 6 months now to try it. Over all I think the party was a success...Chris didn't win at poker but had a great time...I think the party ended around 4am. I ended the night a couple hours earlier. Oh yeah one more thing..pics to come...Vincent had a security shirt made for DAD's 30th Birthday...so cute.
