Tuesday and Wednesday Vincent and I spent part of our day at doctor offices. On Tuesday he had a heart echo done, because he randomly will get dusky. Good news its normal. And by the way it is hard to hold a toddler still for that kind of test. NOT FUN!!
On Wednesday we met with the allergy doctor to have some more testing done, to see if this was contributing to his reoccurant illnesses. Thankful Chris came to this appointment. I was thinking they were going to make him lay down on his belly and have several pokes done to his back and then have to lie still for ever...Luckily they have made some improvements since I had this done. Chris held him with his belly facing him...and I just made sure his hands were free from the nurse. They did 8 or 9 pokes to his back..he did great, one little squirm. Then they said he could run around for the next 15 minutes, just trying not to let him scratch his back...he did GREAT! So results...he is allergic to DOGS!! yes dogs. Chris and I were for sure it would be the cat...wrong! So it looks like we may be giving Chloe another home. At this point in time, with Vinny all over the place we don't think we will be able to keep Chloe away from him. We are still thinking it over. He said he may outgrow this in a couple years, or may get worse with more allergies..oh yeah! But at least it is one answer.
Later that afternoon we met with the ENT doc. She said the left ear tube is perfect placement while the right ear one is starting to grow out. It is not ideally positioned the way they want. We got an xray to look at his adenoids as well...she called today to let us know that they are mildly enlarged. Which sucks considering we removed them several months ago and they have already grown back. We are going to try and give him zyrtec for the next month and see if some of the symptoms change...if not looks like they will be removing them again and replacing the tube. Still no real REAL answers as to why he gets sick/colds every like 3 weeks.
