Surgery

Vincent before his surgery that morning...playful as can be! We had to get him up at 5:15am...so we thought he would sleep a little bit longer...no luck. He was awake the whole ride to the hospital, he fell asleep in my arms 10 minutes before they took him back to surgery. Vincent and mommy getting some cuddlin time in before surgery...so innocent!

After surgery in the recovery room. It went pretty well. He cried a little bit after surgery and than slept, and then cried. I think he was unsure of the anesthesia feeling. Within a short time he was himself.

On Monday...Vincent finally had his surgery for tube placement. After many medications and many doctor visits we were finally healthy enough to have the surgery. Dr. Richardson performend the surgery. We had planned to place tubes in his ears and take a look at his adnoids since he has been sick for several months. Well Dr. Richardson said they were 50-60% occluded and full of bacteria so she had to intubate him for approx 10-15 minutes and remove them. He did well with the surgery...and was bouncing of the walls by the late afternoon. Hopefully after all this, things will go better.
